This is the final post in a series of four that will help you start thinking about Christmas preparations, the first article can be found here. and the second post can be found here, and the third post can be found here.
Lists are not my friends.  They used to be, but we had a huge fallout at one point in time.  At Christmastime, I try my darnedest to invite them back into my life.  There are so many things to keep track of, and more importantly, it seems that time goes by so much faster in December.   Each year I tell myself all the things that I want to do in preparation and then tell myself "it's only December 1st, I've got so much time", only to turn around and find that it's Christmas day.  So this year, I'll make lists, and my lists will involve target dates for when I want things completed by.

Some things to make lists of:

  • What I want to bake and who the recipients will be
  • Crafts I want to make
  • Projects I want to create with my kids
  • Gifts I'll buy (and how much they cost)
  • Events I want to attend
  • Christmas Card Lists
So grab a notebook (because you bought a ton when they were on sale at back to school time, right?) and start your Christmas planning now!
