this wasn't in the plan |but life is still pretty good

One day last week, I received a bit of mail I didn't think I'd ever get. Many months ago, I visited Walgreens and bought some diapers so I could get a $5 register rewards certificate (and, of course, because I needed diapers). They weren't printing up, so I was given a form to fill out and send it. I put it aside and forgot about it until it was just slightly too late, but I went ahead and sent it in anyway. Since more than three months had passed, I assumed I wouldn't get it since I sent it in too late, but I was wrong, and very excited to see it in the mail.

It won't always work, another time I decided to try and send a rebate in late all I got back was a postcard saying I had missed the deadline. But if you feel it might be worth the risk of being out the cost of a stamp, sending in a rebate form just a bit late might be worth a shot.
