this wasn't in the plan |but life is still pretty good

There aren't too many situations that can make that statement true, but grocery shopping can.

Early this month, I arrived home from vacation and then a little over a week later took off again. I intended on heading to the grocery store in between trips, but I only managed a quick trip to buy some milk. Instead, I adjusted the menu and raided the pantry. The result? The month is half over, but I've only spent about a quarter of my monthly grocery budget. Nice.
