Macaroni Tomato Soup

The ingredient amounts listed are very approximate.  Using what I've got here will most likely give you leftovers, but that's fine because this soup re-heats up wonderfully.

3 c. milk
2 c. elbow macaroni
1 tsp. baking soda
48 oz. can tomato juice

Warm milk in a saucepan.  Meanwhile, cook macaroni and drain.  Add tomato juice to macaroni.  Stir in baking soda.  Add warm milk.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Actually, add more than you'd think you'll need.  But not too much of course.  That's it!  Quick and easy and tasty too.
