this wasn't in the plan |but life is still pretty good

Two nights ago, Bug and I made some homemade tortillas.  They just require a few ingredients that you probably have on hand and no special equipment (other than a rolling pin) is necessary.  It was a fun little treat (the kids had them for dinner with cheese on top and I had some for a snack) and Bug had a wonderful time rolling them out and using various other flattening techniques (mainly pounding). 

Want to make some?  Here's a flour tortilla recipe to try.  It can be difficult to get them really thin.  Since Bug was in charge of the rolling pin, ours were pretty thick, but still tasty!
