this wasn't in the plan |but life is still pretty good

Buggy turned four this week, and he's already counting down to his next birthday.  Telling him "a long time" doesn't quite cut it.

This week, I submitted my tortilla soup recipe to the Make it From Scratch Carnival (hosted at Country Magpie).  I also submitted What Happens When You Already Do What You Should? to the Festival of Frugality (hosted at On Financial Success).  What is a carnival (or festival)?  It's simply a bunch of articles from various blogs that are all about a similar topic.  Here are some posts from those carnivals that I enjoyed.
